Siriwardena’s double gives CCC-SC 56 runs win

With a useful double of 34 runs and a deadly spell of bowling where Suraj Siriwardena captured five wickets for 17 runs earned CCC School of Cricket a 56 run win over President’s College, Maharagama in their under 14 limited over cricket fixture played at the CMS ground, Kotte last weekend.

Batting first, the CCC School of Cricket with Siriwardena top scoring with 34 runs and further contributions by Wanniyanayake (32) and Ayesh Weeraratne 22 posted a match winning score of 175 for 7 in their quota of overs.

President’s College in reply were skittled out for 119 to lose by 56 runs.
