Dilan elected to AVC Board of Administration

The President of the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation and Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare, Dilan Perera was unanimously elected to the Board of Administration of the Asian Volleyball Confederation, at the 19th AVC General Assembly held at Chinese Taipei on Thursday.

This is considered as a great personal achievement as well as a victory for the national game of the country. Earlier in July this year, Minister Perera was elected as the President of the Asian Central Zone Volleyball Association bringing great credit to island. He is the first Sri Lankan to be elected to a high office at the Asian Volleyball Confederation.

Dilan Perera considers that his new appointment is a clear result of development  activities under taken by the Sri Lankan Volleyball Federation to uplift and popularize the game in the country as well as in the region.
