India wins first gold in Hambanthota

India won the first gold medal in the inaugural South Asian Beach games as Jusvinder Singh Bad won the equestrian event. For a totally alien event for Sri Lankan, only three Sri Lankans took part in equestrian singles event. Jusvinder Singh won the silver medal while Durga Prasad of Nepal winning the bronze.
