Medal winners honoured

Members of the Civil Security Department who won medals at the recent first South Asian beach games held in Hambantota were awarded cash prices and promoted in rank.

The gold medal in Beach relay and bronze medal in Life Saving games (200 m beach running, 300 m swimming and 200m beach running) were won by N.S. Priyasanka while Sub Warden Anil Shantha, and Sub Warden Viraj were members of the silver medal winning Sri Lanka Beach Football team.
