Police in easy win

Police scored an easy three goals to one victory over Java Lane at Police Park on Sunday. It was a welcome win for Police who’s not had much success in the first leg being placed eighth in the points table at the completion of the first round.

M. Naushad (51st minute), A. Prasanna (74th) and S. Pathirana (77) scored for the winners. J. M. Zarwan (91st) netted the solitary goal for the losers. Meanwhile, the match between Saunders and Nandimithra ended in a goalless draw at the Kelaniya Football Complex on Sunday.
