Ashen,sachin,and Basith guide Wesley

Skipper Ashen Fonseka along with Sachin Jayawardena and Basith Muzammil guided Wesley to their second successive win as the trio combined to give the side a convincing innings and 95 runs win over Dharmapala in the match concluded at Campbell Park yesterday.

It was spinners Basith Muzammil with a six wicket haul and Sachin Jayawardena who ended with a match bag of 9 for 39 who guided the side after skipper Ashen Fonseka who made a 78 helped the Wesleyites post a formidable score of 262.

Dharmapala after being shot out for 62 in the first innings resuming their second innings on five for no loss and found Muzammil too good as they succumbed to a score of 103. Basith ended with figures of 6 for 34.
