Herath dropped from Asia Cup squad

Left-arm spinner Rangana Herath has been dropped from the 14 member Sri Lanka squad named for the Asia Cup tournament which starts at Dhaka on March 11.  
Right-arm leg-spinner Seekkuge Prasanna and seamer Suranga Lakmal have been recalled to the side after a couple of series with mixed results. The three injured all-rounders, Angelo Mathews, Thisara Perera and Farveez Maharoof are also included in the squad subject to their fitness. Lakmal returns to the team after four months after nursing an ankle injury since last November. The four Asian cricketing giants will battle it out for supremacy in a 12-day event, conducted by the Asian Cricket Council held every two years.
