An elegant knock of 86 with 14 fours off 97 balls by vice captain Viraj Karaputugala helped Dharmaraja College to declare at 226 for 7 wickets in their schools under 19 cricket tournament match against D.S Senanayake College which began at Lake View Grouds, Kandy yesterday. The match will be continued today at 9.30 a.m.

Viraj Karaputugala who has found form on the eve of the big match has been scoring heavily since of late and has twice missed getting into three figures. When D.S. Senanayake College batted spinner Arvinda Withanarachchi took 3 for 33 to bring his tally for the season to 85 wickets. At close D.S. Senanayake College had scored 116 for 5.
