Royal Panadura too good for Tissa MMV Kalutara

Royal Panadura were too good for Tissa MMV Kalutara whom they defeated by six wickets in their Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter concluded at the Panadura Esplanade yesterday.

Royal Panadura resuming on their overnight score of 119 for 5 went on to make a score of 179 in reply to their opponents’ score of 181. Tissa MMV batting the second time were bundled out for 115 with Thenuka Dhananjaya doing the damage with a six wicket haul.

Royal Panadura chasing 118 runs for victory needed just 18 overs to reach the target to record their third outright win for the season.
