Panadura Royal win by Inn & 135 runs

Thenuka Dhananjaya and Kavindu Ashan wrecked St. John's second innings to guide Panadura Royal College for an innings and 135 runs win in the big match ended at Panadura esplanade on Saturday.

The two spinners, Thenuka Dhananjaya (Left arm orthodox) and Kavindu Ashan (right arm off spinner) shared seven wickets for 43 runs to restrict St. John's College for a paltry 62 runs in the first innings on Friday. They played havoc in the second innings too by claiming 10 wickets for 58 runs after Madhawa Nimesh cracked 153 not out for Royal.

Having bundled out their opponents for 62, Royal lads are ahead of 209 runs. St. John's boys are under pressure to score 210 or more to make Royal bat again. They could make only 74 in the second outing.
