Exchanges were even on day one of the 24th Battle of Kelaniya big match between Gurukula MV and Dharmaloka MV played at the R. Premadasa Stadium. Dharmaloka MV taking first lease of the wicket was bowled out for a score of 115 but came back to restrict the strong Gurukula MV side to a score of 117 for 5.
The highlight of the day’s play was an unbeaten half ton by Gurkula MV’S Lisula Lakshan.
