Debutants Upcountry Lions in second round

Debutant Upcountry Lions SC scored a hard fought one-nil victory over Young Eagles SC in the Holcim FA Cup first round match played at Nuwara Eliya UC ground on Sunday. With this win Lions from Nawalapitiya has qualified to play in the second round which is to commence this week-end. Sri Padians SC became the third club from Hatton to quality for the second round after beating Gold Moon SC by 3 goals to 2 at Dunbar grounds on Sunday.

Red Star SC beat Kolons SC by 6 goals to 1 at Aluthgama.

Young Mens SC beat Badowita SC by 1-nil at Railway ground.

Barberyn SC beat Old Peterites SC by 3 goals to 1 at SPC ground.

Maya SC awarded walk-over against Golden Star SC.

Super Sun SC beat Green Beat SC by 3 goals to 1 at Aluthgama.
