St. Peter’s will confront Isipathana in another crucial game of the Singer Under 20 Division 1A interschool rugby tournament due to be played at Longdon Place today with the kick off set for 4.30 p.m.

The Peterites smarting from their defeat by Royal last week will be looking forward to make a comeback and also avenge their 29-42 defeat last season. According to the form of the teams the Peterites have the edge but they cannot take the Isipathanians lightly as they are capable of turning the apple cart.

The Havelock Park boys have been in top form as they recorded resounding wins over DSS and St. Anthony’s and will be coming into the game with a load of confidence. A defeat for either of the two will see them going out of contention for the league title.

S. Thomas’ host Wesley

S. Thomas’ will host Wesley in a key encounter of the Singer Under 20 Division 1B rugby tournament scheduled to be played at Mt Lavinia today. Wesley apart from Dharmaraja is the other unbeaten side in this group.

The Thomians had their unbeaten record tarnished last week by Dharmaraja but will be aiming to make amends but the Wesleyites who are favoured will no doubt be coming into the game to keep their unbeaten record in tack and a win here will assure them a slot for promotion to the top division next season.
