   Minister can speak only. we believed he never change anything in sports, Because no resources to develop sports of the ministry of sports. He paid for their coaches as very low Labour salary. Who would like to serve that much.

   No proper coach..Sampath and all the players have liquor together after match. How come you expect performance.

   MINISTER CAN NOT DO ANY THING HE MAY SHOUTING TO GET SOMETHING FROM MANILAL. MANILAL IS GOOD FOR FOOTBALL HE ALSO PLAY SOME MONEY NICELY ITS OK STILL HE IS GOOD FOR FOOTBALL.. MINISTER YOU BETTER SEE SOME OTHER SPORTS..

   Not a single minister did anything to develop soccer other than V.A.Sugathadasa.
   We have to appreciate Manilal’s efforts in bringing the game to some respectable
   level in Sri Lanka. Our peoples attitudes should be changed. Earlier it was stated that Cricket is played by the gentlemen and Football by rowdies.Start to develop the
   game at the grass root level.Schools are the best sloution.Include football in the schools sports agendas.(Girls & Boys) The sports body and the education ministries should take the initiative Let the Football Federation to manage the whole structure.The professional part of the game . If Manilal is not there today there is no football in Sri Lanka and Football Federation.The people who critisize Manilal should understand why at the AGM of world football governing body elections Manilal was appointed to the executive committee.So, let the FFSL run the show with some professionals while assisting Manilal.Mr. Minister do not forget that one of your colleague is the Hon. President of FFSL.

   The minister knows only to make verbose comments. He is just a bluffer like the rest of the leadership. Sports in Sri Lanka is in shambles ’cause of people like him. If they are removed, where would they go? To their villagers to till the soil.
