Sports minister gets ready to resurrect Sri Lankan Football

The Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage, speaking at a media briefing, said that Sri Lanka Football has reached its lowest in the recent past and the time has come for the Ministry to intervene to get the game on the right path.

Minister Mahindananda further went on to say that he is really concerned over this issue andfinding ways to work out a sponsorship package with Hatton National Bank for the betterment of the game.

"In the recent past, we have not heard any good news about Sri Lankan Football at international level. This has to be given high consideration"

"This is the right time for the ministry to take charge of it and the ministry is ready to make amendments as early as possible" minister Aluthgamage said at the National Olympic House.
