St. Joseph’s College Wattala beat Loyala College Bopitiya by 36 runs in their SLSCA- under 15 divisions III inter school cricket tournament played at Wattala last week.
St. Joseph’s team who batted first scored 231 in 42 overs with Roshen Chathuranga scoring 44 runs and the visiting team was able to score only 195 in 34 overs despite N. Shasheen scoring a thumping 46.
Srimath Jeewantha of the St. Joseph’s College took 5 wickets for 56 runs while Loyala’s Ishan Perera got two wickets for 18 runs.
