Tharjani, Gayathri co-captains in Sri Lanka netball team

Six footer, Tharjani Sivalingam and Gayathri Lankathilake will lead the 12- member Sri Lankan Netball Team in the 08th Asian Netball Championships, to be held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo, this month. The tournament will run from 25 to 31 August 2012.

Gayathri Lankatillake, the senior most of Sri Lanka players, and Tharjani Sivalingam have been appointed as co captains for Sri Lanka team.

Shashika Samarasinghe, Thishala Algama, Semini Alwis, Gayani Dissanayaka, Chathurangi Jayasooriya, Wishaka Jayasooriya, Mareesha Fernando, Samanthi Nilushika, Dammika Malkanthi and Deepika Abeykoon have been selected for the team.
