The 22nd Inter-International Schools’ Swimming Championships, hosted by Asian International School (AIS) Colombo, will be held on November 5 and 6 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Swimming Pool.
The annual event is expected to have a total of 836 participants representing 21 TISSL (The International Schools of Sri Lanka) member schools taking part in 84 individual events and 22 relays this year.
AIS have won the Championship 12 times, while the remaining have been shared among Colombo International School and the two Lyceum International Schools, Nugegoda and Wattala, with the latter heading in as the defending champions.
The schools participating are Asian International School, Alethea International School, Burhani International School, Colombo International School (Colombo and Kandy), Elizabeth Moir, The British School in Colombo, Gateway College (Colombo and Kandy), Lyceum (Nugegoda, Wattala, Panadura and Rathnapura), Leighton Park, Leeds International, Overseas School in Colombo, OKI International School, Regent International College, Royal Institute, Stafford International School and Wycherly International School.
