A fine knock of 107 by Kaveesh Kumara was the highlight in the Under-19 Inter-Schools cricket encounter between Dharmasoka MV Ambalangoda and Rahula College Matara which began at the Uyanwatte Stadium in Matara on Thursday.

Dharmasoka MV taking first lease of the wicket made 215 and Rahula in their turn ended the day on 83 for four.

Thurstan dominated the opening day’s play against President’s College Kotte in their Under-19 cricket match played at Thurstan Grounds yesterday.

Thurstan after restricting their opponents for a low 119 ended the day on 66 for 3.
