S. Thomas’ College prevailed over D. S. Senanayake College with a first innings win in their Under-19 Inter-Schools cricket encounter concluded at Mount Lavinia on Thursday.

D. S. Senanayake in reply to the Thomians score of 183 were bundled out for a paltry 116 with Pavith Ratnayake and Dellon Peiris doing the damage.

S. Thomas’ 183 and 87 for 6 declared (Manchila Wijeratne 42, Dinura Gunawardena 31 n.o, Muditha Lakshan 4 for 29, Vihan Gunasekera 2 for 39)

D. S. Senanayake (28/0 overnight) 116 (Shehzad Ameen 31, Dasun Perera 45 n.o, Pavith Ratnayake 4 for 33, Dellon Peiris 4 for 42) and 59 for 3 (Dasun Perera 21 n.o, Dellon Peiris 2 for 34).

Ananda Sastralaya Kotte coasted to an easy innings and 26-run win over Wadduwa Central in their Under-19 cricket match which ended at Kotte yesterday.
