Royal College has released video footage from the controversial game against Isipathana College played last week at the Royal College Sports Complex, to support their claims of alleged foul play by the Pathanians.

Kaplan for Bradby or as a referee educator?

World famous South African and IRB (International Rugby Board) referee Jonathan Kaplan will arrive in the island later this month to conduct a referee educator workshop in Kandy and Colombo. However, the timing of Kaplan’s arrival has raised a doubt amongst the rugby fraternity as to whether he is coming to officiate at the Bradby Shield first leg encounter, a move which could essentially deprive a local referee of the opportunity.
