Perera used the long handle to its best to crack four fours and same number of sixes at a critical time. If not for his thrashing, Kandurata Warriors would have faced a difficult situation. In addition to Perera’s contribution, Misbah Ul-Haq and Kithruwan Vithanage too scored 24 runs each for Kandurata Warriors. Kandurata Warriors, who won the toss elected to bat, lost experienced Samaraweera for one run. Later, Withanage and Misbah Ul Haq were associated in a good partnership as Kandurata reached 57 in the 9th over.
